The CoreTech® Portable Photography System is a complete, field-ready solution for capturing high-quality, consistent core sample imagery—purpose-built for geologists, engineers, drillers, and core shed professionals.

Each unit comes with a fitted canvas cover designed for use during photography to eliminate external glare and shadows. This ensures accurate, uniform lighting over the core tray—critical for clear, professional-grade documentation and geological analysis.

At the core of the system are lightweight, corrosion-resistant A-frames engineered to lock securely into CoreTech® core trays. This precise fit enables fast, stable movement between trays along your onsite geotechnical logging arrangement or customised racking systems, significantly improving workflow efficiency during photographic logging.

Our single base and dual base frames have been engineered to securely integrate with all CoreTech® core trays, the single base frame offers a lightweight, stable solution for fast and accurate core photography. The dual base frame has been engineered to fit all CoreTech® core trays and accommodate a full geotechnical colour reference board within the photography field. This frame option is perfect for projects requiring detailed visual documentation and consistent colour calibration across core samples.
